Healthy Basics Series

The Healthy Basic Course, will guide you through 4 sessions of 1 hour a week, on how the power of your plate can change your life and improve your health for good.

 

This course is part of the Food for Life program, and it is a collaborative effort of physicians, researchers, and nutritionists who have joined together to educate the public about the benefits of a healthful diet for weight

management and disease prevention. Based in Washington, D.C.

Food for Life is a program of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine.

 

The Food for Life program was designed by Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that works to promote disease prevention and survival through nutrition. This class will help you better understand the connection between healthful nutrition and disease prevention, while teaching you how to prepare a number of delicious and nutritious meals.

Resources and class materials

These series will be hosted live and online only, after registering and checking out, the instructor will send you the link to be able to access the live classes and the google classroom to access an e-booklet, e-recipe book, fact sheets and many other resources that will guide you through this curse. 
This class is offered at no additional cost to Ananda Garden's 3 Seasons CSA members.
